Over the last few years, I’ve found the progressive house genre has been snatched up by the dutch-house sound and when combined with a plethora of terrible new entries, I had almost given up hope on the future of the progressive house genre. Then I found this track. While I don’t love Pierce Fulton’s other offerings, I do love this one, and the fact that the focus harks back to the genre’s roots with a depth of chord progression and harmony rather than the dutch-house minimalism.
